Angel City FC returns from the international break with a home game against the Portland Thorns on Friday night

Lussi was drafted in the third round of the 2017 College Draft by the Portland Thorns. She was exchanged to Angel City December.

In a May 15 game out and about against the Washington Spirit,

Lussi ended up beginning at fullback, without precedent for her expert vocation.

“I’ve played the majority of my professional career as a forward and winger,” Lussi said.

 “The transition to defense (left/right back) has been challenging, but also very rewarding.”
