Chaos in Australia-Sri Lanka match
The accident could have been more dangerous, but the audience was relatively empty. However, this caused some panic among the people who came to watch the match and in a public announcement in the stadium, the spectators were asked to go to the safe seats.
By the time the second innings started, the security personnel had taken all the spectators to their safe seats. The stadium hosted Australia and South Africa in their first match of the World Cup last week.

Sri Lanka made a strong start on the basis of half-centuries by openers Kusal Perera (78) and Pathum Nissanka (61) and a partnership of 125 runs in 130 balls, but after the break of this partnership, their innings looked like a deck of cards. It fell apart.
