Chandrayaan 3 Soft Landing – ISRO has successfully landed its lander Vikram on the south pole of the Moon, creating a new history in the space sector.

Vikram Lander of India’s Chandrayaan-3 has successfully landed on the Moon’s South Pole on Wednesday (23 August). India became the first country to reach this part of the moon. No one has been successful in going to the Moon’s South Pole till date. ISRO has shared the first photo of Vikram Lander after its successful soft landing.

ISRO tweeted, “The communication link has been established between the lander of Chandrayaan-3 and the command center located in Bengaluru. These images were taken from the lander horizontal velocity camera while descending.” With this success, India has achieved another milestone. India has also become the fourth country in the world to make a soft landing on the surface of the moon.

Soon after the successful landing of Vikram Lander of Chandrayaan-3, ISRO chief S. Somnath expressed happiness that we have achieved success in soft landing on the Moon. India is on the Moon now. PM Modi was also connected in the program of landing through video conference from South Africa.

Congratulating the ISRO scientists for this achievement, PM Modi said that life becomes blessed when we see such history being made before our eyes. Such historical incidents become the eternal consciousness of the national life.
